The honest math
What moves the price
Four things account for nearly all the difference between the low end and the high end. We price them openly, and the quote you approve is the price you pay.
Whether you have a softener loop
A loop is a plumbing connection built for a softener. Most newer Hays County homes have one, and installs there sit at the low end. Adding a loop is the most common extra cost.
System capacity
More people and more water use call for a bigger system. Right-sizing matters in both directions. An oversized system wastes money up front, and an undersized one costs you in salt and wear.
How far the water has to travel
Long runs to a far corner of the house, crawl-space work, or attic plumbing add labor. We walk the route during the consultation so the quote already includes it.
Combining systems in one visit
A softener and a filtration system installed together share setup work, so the combined price runs less than two separate installs.

The water test tells us what your water needs and the walk through your home tells us what the install involves. You get one written number, good as quoted.
